Impressive work on the writing and voice acting! Not every day I see a jam game with such clean story-telling. I should also thank you for putting checkpoints, I was worried I’d have to restart from Joy. This makes the game well balanced, challenging but not frustrating. I enjoyed the experience!

Hi. Nice game. I enjoyed it. Good idea.

the boss stages are all nice and unique! had a lot of fun with every stage. anger seems to be the weakest, which was unexpected.  but not as unexpected as the narrative. great twist! the voice acting really brings it to life. also really love the artstyle and animations! really inspiring that you were able to create a project of this scope during the ggj!

Anger being the weakest was actually a bug :(

It was supposed to dash ~80% of the time, and only occasionally stop (giving the player a chance to do damage), but the numbers got mixed up so he only dashes ~20% of the time.

The intro made me laugh out loud. Such great rhymes! After the first "round" I only had one hp left so you can probably figure out how tense I felt the rest of the play through, but I managed to survive til the end with one HP left thanks to the great telegraphing! Controls felt good and the art was nice. Really cool!

That's awesome that you were able to survive on 1hp. Nice job!
